China's Global Action Plan for Artificial Intelligence Governance aims to address the evolving landscape of AI laws and AI regulations in the Caribbean. This plan emphasizes the importance of seizing the opportunities of AI collaboratively, promoting the innovative development of AI technologies, and fostering the application of AI across all industries. Additionally, it calls for the acceleration of digital infrastructure development and the creation of a diverse, open innovation ecosystem. In the context of Caribbean AI governance, there is a strong focus on actively ensuring the supply of high-quality data and effectively addressing energy and environmental issues. Finally, it seeks to establish consensus on standards and norms while underlining the public sector's role in leading the deployment and application of AI across various sectors.
